Tae Ho Kim started as President of Sales & Marketing, Asia Pacific in November 2009. Prior to joining D&M Holdings, Mr. Kim served as Director of the Board & Senior Corporate Officer of Misumi Group Inc., a manufacturer and catalogue retailer of industrial components. He also served as President of Press, Mold & Tools Company of Misumi Corporation. Before Misumi, he worked with Shinwa Company, Inc., a manufacturer of automotive audio components and computer peripherals, as Director of the Board and CEO of its North American subsidiaries. He started his career with American Express, serving key positions in Finance and Marketing departments before leaving the company as Head of Business Travel in the Corporate Services Division.
Mr. Kim delivered results in a wide range of areas such as turning around non-performing businesses, starting up overseas operations and restructuring. He has a breadth of management experience with diverse corporate cultures in a global Japanese trading firm, a Japanese manufacturer and a Fortune 500 financial institution. He emphasizes strategic thinking, as well as practical hands on management.
In addition to speaking Japanese and English as a native, Mr. Kim is also proficient in Korean and Mandarin Chinese. He graduated from Pomona College in California, U.S.A. with Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics.
