In addition to his roles as a board member and executive officer, Mr. Sato also has served as president of D&M Sales and Marketing Asia Pacific since June 2004.
He started his career in the sales department at Standard Radio Corp. (which later became Marantz Japan), spending six years in New York and Los Angeles. Mr. Sato leverages a background in sales service supervision and has held a number of key positions in quality assurance and product planning. He has served as president of Marantz America, general manager of BU premium audio in the consumer electronics division of Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V. and as director and managing director of Marantz Japan. Additionally, Mr. Sato was president of Marantz Japan from 2001 until 2005.
Mr. Sato graduated from Nippon Electronics Technical School with an electronic engineering degree.
